Does working out cause acne?

Working out can definitely worsen your acne - especially if you're working out in a gym. Most people don't realize how much of an acne causer working out can be.

Just look around at people in your gym, I'll bet a fair amount of them have at least a mild amount of acne or deal with breakouts.

Don't get me wrong, I know that cardio or working out does lessen stress.

And stress has been known to make acne worse.

This study done in 2011 actually found that the brain, gut and skin are highly related.

That's another story though.

If your stressing out about going to the gym every day, then its time for you to find some other form of workout that you somewhat enjoy or can challenge yourself, like running or biking – but that's not the issue here.

Can You Ever Completely Avoid Gym Acne?

I'm going to be honest though, there's no way to escape acne from the gym and working out in general.

Even if it is a major stress reducer. And I'll be the first one to say that stress can sometimes be a huge factor in terms of acne and breakouts.

From my experiences I've found that my acne doesn't really care if I'm stressed or not stressed at all – though it is much worse during a stressful month I do admit.

So they may be somehow related, but it doesn't matter.

In the gym though or during a workout there's just too much sweat, open pores, heat, bacteria, face touching, dirty high-fives - and its all thrown together in one big room where the air vents constantly circulate the polluted air throughout every little corner.

So in short, yes it can definitely be the cause of some of your breakouts or stubborn acne.

How to Avoid Acne From Working Out?

While working out, the best thing you can do is to handle your face sweat correctly – sweat left on your face can cause acne. But you should never touch your face with your hands without really washing them first (especially at the gym).

But managing your sweat isn't going to clear your acne, obviously.

It's only going to help prevent it from forming while you're working out.

So How Do You Get Rid of Acne in General?

We know that face washes don't work. Antibiotics are damaging, and only for very severe cases.

The good news is that I'm the only person who knows how to quickly clear it – maybe not in the world, but definitely on the internet.

I'm simply going to tell you exactly what I did, because I tried countless types of treatments for about a decade and not one of them brought any real results.

Before I tell you, I just want to say that I currently go to the gym, eat plenty of sweet foods, sweat all day when its hot outside – and still don't have acne. Although eating mineral-rich food like vegetables helps a little too.

The AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) even agrees with me as you can see from this article.

It may have took them 60 years to admit they were wrong but they finally did.

How Indescribably Great it Feels to Be Acne Free?

Do you know how great it feels doing these things, and not even worrying for a second that it might be causing acne to form?

It's a feeling that everyone should have when they're doing things they enjoy doing – instead of feeling anxiety about potential acne.

I'm sick and tired of reading articles about how acne can be cleared by eating differently, or taking something from the medicine cabinet.

That stuff has never worked for me, or anyone I've ever met – I've only read 'stories' about that stuff working.

You already know this though so I don't know why I brought it up.

How I Cleared Myself?

It was around this time last year when I learned about oral antioxidant treatments from one of my friends.

If you want to know how I cleared my acne within 6-7 days then you can read my full story here.

But fast forward about 3 days and I had nearly 50% less acne, and getting much clearer each day.

I know it sounds hard to believe – I still can't belive it after a full year of being clear.

I'm finally experiencing true peace of mind for the first time in my whole life, and I want nothing more than to help others like you reach the same place.
