How to Get Rid of a Pimple Overnight: 12 Hour

That's another subject though, I already wrote a post about my story, and how I cleared my entire face in a couple of days, so I won’t go into detail here.

Since then, I only have a few small pimples each month or so, if that. Instead of a few big ones each day – but I’m still the best in the world at pimple popping.

For this post though, I’m going to tell you how to get rid of an individual pimple overnight.

Lets get started,

Below I’m going to list the exact steps required to pop your pimple, and clear away the evidence as fast as possible.

A quick note before you begin – these are extremely detailed steps, but that’s because they work. So I strongly suggest you read every word.

Steps for Popping Pimples Within 11 Hours

First I’ll list what you’ll need before popping:

  • Clean towel

  • Clean Paper towels

  • Face wash containing salicylic acid (preferably 2%)

  • Oil-free moitsturizer (or non-comedogenic)

  • A few ice-cubes

Instructions: How to Get Rid of a Pimple Overnight

Step 1 -  Pop the pimple

This is important because if you have dirt and bacteria on your hands then you’re just going to cause more pimples to form.

Also make sure the soap is antibacterial.

Rinse ALL of the soap off of your hands.

And make sure to dry them with a CLEAN paper towel – not a greasy bathroom hand towel or your shirt.

Dry them well because it will be hard to grip your skin while popping otherwise.

Step 2 -  Pop the pimple

Squeeze everything out. Use a clean paper towel or tissue to gently remove anything that may have landed on your skin.

Step 3 -  Wash your hands with soap and water again

Rinse well with water, but don’t dry them

Step 4 - Splash cold water onto your pimple

Step 5 - Face Wash

Slowly and gently - massage your face wash (salicylic acid cleanser) around the pimple for about 20 seconds or so, then squeeze it again to make sure all of the fluid comes out – this is called exfoliation.

Step 6 - Repeat

Rinse the area, and gently rub some more face wash on it for about 10 seconds. Then rinse fully. Don’t dry though.

Step 7 - Icing it

Gently rub an ice cube around the pimple for about 15-20 seconds. If you don't believe me, renown dermatologist, Dr. Audrey Kunin explains in this detailed article, why ice is crucial for acne.

Step 8 - Gently pat everything dry

Step 9 - Gently apply a small amount of moisturizer

Step 10 - Optional step

If you’re going to apply foundation, you can do it now, just wait at least 90 seconds for the moisturizer to dry before applying it.

Step 11 - Drink plenty of water (this will speed up the process)

Step 12 - Eat more vegetables

This one is the most important. Eat as many carrots or green vegetables as possible. I won’t explain why because it will take too long, and I know that you’re in a rush.

If you want to know what foods are the best to eat for acne sufferers, then you can read my previous post on the strongest acne-fighting foods.

A Quick Overview

Remember, the last step is the most important. If you want to know why it’s the most important, than you should read the post I wrote about my full story (mentioned in the beginning).

I would highly suggest reading my advice, because otherwise you’ll just keep fighting pimple after pimple. And It will only worsen.

Not to mention also,  the only reason I wrote it is to help you and every other acne sufferer. My breakouts were much worse than just one pimple, but so are most peoples. The good news is that now you finally know how to get rid of a pimple overnight.
